Our 6-year-old found the pace just right and enjoys practicing the short exercises between lessons. The class is a fun, focused way to get kids comfortable with breath control and simple songs before moving on to woodwinds.

Our child had never played a wind instrument before and this course was an excellent introduction to the Nuvo Toot and basic woodwind skills. Over eight weeks they learned assembly, basic note reading, rhythm, and simple songs through playful games and structured exercises. The 30-minute weekly lessons struck a good balance—short enough to hold attention, but packed with useful practice tasks that built musical awareness and coordination. We noticed improved tone production and articulation, and the focus on basic performance skills has made them excited about future band study. Overall highly recommend for ages 5–7.

After completing the course my 7-year-old can read simple notes and play short melodies with better articulation and breath control. The lessons used mechanical exercises and practice tasks that really helped coordination. Pacing felt appropriate for a beginner pre-band student.

We signed our 12-year-old up for this two-lesson crochet course and it was a solid introduction. The close-up videos of the teacher’s hands made the half double crochet and the V-stitch easy to follow during the 55-minute weekly lessons, though I would have liked a bit more practice time or an extra session to reinforce the stitches.
