As a parent, I like that this one-time Halloween workshop focuses on kid-friendly topics—best candy, favorite costume, or a not-too-scary monster—and teaches clear opinion writing steps. The structure (drafting a short opinion paragraph, adding supporting reasons, and practicing reading it aloud using simple linking words like because and also) sounds like a gentle, beginner-friendly introduction to persuasive writing for grades 1–2. Clean, playful, and easy to understand.

As a parent, I like that the one-on-one lessons are tailored to ages 6–9 and focus on narrative, opinion, and informational writing. The step-by-step structure—brainstorming, drafting sentences and paragraphs, then gentle editing—paired with playful prompts and vocabulary games (and even Wizard Willy!) keeps things engaging.
