Class Experience
A creative maker camp that uses Wings of Fire tribes, settings and ideas as a springboard for creature design, simple engineering and worldbuilding. Students explore habitat traits and adaptations, draw and build 3-D dragon figures and puppets, and design rainforest-inspired canopy habitats and maps through hands-on projects and guided instruction.
Learning Outcomes
Explain how animal adaptations influence creature design and apply that understanding to original dragon designs
Identify rainforest ecosystem features and consider how habitat shapes living things
Apply basic engineering and design principles to build stable habitats or structures
