This ongoing weekly science club invites children ages 5-8 to explore one clear science idea each class through hands-on, teacher-led experiments. Every session emphasizes curiosity, simple predictions, careful observation, and group discussion using age-appropriate scientific words. Experiments use safe, common household items; learners who prefer not to handle materials may still take part by watching, answering questions, and sharing observations. Classes are non-cumulative, so learners can join at any time without feeling behind. Each meeting follows a predictable routine: a welcome and curiosity question, a brief introduction to the week’s idea, a clear teacher demonstration on camera, an optional student experiment or observation, a short group discussion, and one takeaway to remember. Topics rotate through chemistry basics, matter and density, water and evaporation, materials like slime and oobleck, forces and motion, and light and sound. Sample activities include baking soda volcanoes, dancing raisins, walking water, density towers, rubber eggs, slime, balloon rockets, crystal growing, cup phones, and shadow experiments. Families receive the brief materials list before each class so they can prepare comfortably. Learners are encouraged to keep a simple science notebook to draw or record results. The club focuses on building curiosity, observation skills, and confidence with science vocabulary while connecting experiments to everyday life.

Paid once.
Each class starts with a curiosity question and a short intro to the weekly idea. The teacher demonstrates the experiment, then students may try it or observe. The group discusses what they saw, practices simple vocabulary, and ends with one clear takeaway. Join anytime; materials lists are shared ahead.
Make predictions, observe changes, and describe results using simple science vocabulary
Recognize basic concepts like chemical reactions, density, absorption, and motion
Practice using curiosity and questioning to explore how everyday phenomena work
Connect simple science ideas to real-life examples and routines
Build confidence participating in guided experiments and group discussions
Ages 5-8 (1st–3rd grade). No prior science experience required. Adult supervision is recommended for younger children during hands-on activities.
