Class Experience

This course surveys every U.S. president in pairs, focusing on their backgrounds, major actions in office, and historical context. Lessons combine short readings with interactive activities—word searches, coloring pages, puzzles, matching games, and trivia—to reinforce facts, support different learning styles, and practice discussion and comprehension skills.

  • Identify U.S. presidents and recall key facts about their lives and presidencies

  • Explain major contributions and challenges of individual presidents

  • Describe historical context and events occurring during each presidency

  • Develop discussion and listening skills through group conversations and activities

  • Strengthen reading comprehension using short passages and themed worksheets

Prerequisites

Materials needed:

A notebook to collect our coloring pages, reading comprehension passages, and word searches.

Pen, pencil. colored pencils, markers and paper to use, if needed in class.
