Doma B.

As a parent of a 16-year-old, I appreciated the clear structure — two lessons per week over 36 weeks — and the variety of teaching methods. The course encouraged my child to write essays and engage in discussions about recent decades, which sparked some great conversations at home.

Solid curriculum that covers key topics like colonization, revolution, and civil rights; my teen enjoyed the videos, though sometimes the lectures felt long for a single 50-minute session.

Comprehensive and well-paced for a full-year course; covering prehistory through the 2020s felt thorough and balanced in scope.

We've been impressed by how the course ties major themes together across eras — expansion, industrialization, world wars and the Cold War — and the twice-weekly, 50-minute format keeps my teen focused without being overwhelming. The occasional worksheets and projects added good variety and prompted thoughtful discussions at home.
