This eight-week, project-based class teaches foundational financial literacy through hands-on play in the Roblox games Grow a Garden and Steal a Brainrot. Learners explore how choices about earning, spending, upgrading, saving, and risk affect progress in-game and use those outcomes to discuss real money-management ideas. Topics include income and net worth, budgeting and spending decisions, return on investment, upgrading assets to boost earnings, passive income systems, risk versus reward, diversification, and strategic planning. Each session focuses on one concept. Students try strategies in teacher-hosted private Roblox servers, observe results, and reflect on what worked and why. Instruction combines guided gameplay, live coaching, group discussion, and reflection. The instructor demonstrates tactics, supports decisions in real time, and leads comparisons of different approaches. Learners will practice tracking results, comparing purchases and upgrades, and adjusting strategies across sessions. This class is for learners who enjoy Roblox and want to use game-based experiences to understand money concepts. No prior financial-literacy knowledge is required. By connecting in-game decisions to everyday financial ideas, students build practical reasoning about trade-offs, planning, and long-term choices while having fun collaborating with classmates.

Paid once.
