This seven-week beginner course introduces the fundamentals of reading music: clefs and staves, notes, key signatures, time signatures, rhythm, and musical signs like repeats and dynamics. Lessons use presentations and video demonstrations with regular assignments and instructor feedback to build practical notation-reading and rhythmic skills useful for private lessons, band, or orchestra preparation.
