Loved that the course is focused on composing with the music alphabet — from simple three-letter ideas to more complex ones with sharps and flats. The composition pages made it easy to capture and develop melodies across the five-week course.

Our 13-year-old responded well to the individualized coaching and drills focused on partials and articulation. Progress in phrasing and range was noticeable, though some etudes were challenging to cover fully in a single 25-minute lesson. Still, it's a good fit for motivated students aged 11–14.

My teenager appreciated the clear lessons and the chance to compose actual songs. One lesson per week over five weeks was manageable, and having 12 songs by the end felt rewarding.

My child enjoyed writing tunes and the printable composition book was handy. The course is great overall, though the difficulty ramps up noticeably when five-letter combinations and accidentals are introduced.
