This private, one-on-one class is designed for children ages 7–11 who are struggling with reading, spelling, writing, or handwriting, including learners with Dyslexia, ADHD, or Dysgraphia. Lessons follow a multisensory, structured approach grounded in Science of Reading principles and Orton-Gillingham techniques. Instruction is explicit, cumulative, and adapted to each child’s current skills and goals. Sessions combine targeted phonics and phonemic awareness work with practical spelling practice and guided writing. Activities are kinesthetic and engaging: tracing letters in sand, rainbow writing, segmenting sounds with Play-Doh, movement warm-ups to prepare attention and coordination, and short story prompts to build fluency and comprehension. Handwriting practice focuses on letter formation, muscle memory, and writing stamina through fine motor exercises and guided copying. Every lesson is customized to the learner’s level, whether the focus is decoding and blending, mastering spelling patterns and tricky words, forming sentences and organizing ideas, or improving handwriting fluency. The classroom environment uses visual schedules, clear routines, and positive reinforcement to help learners stay focused and build confidence. This class works well as early intervention, a targeted literacy boost, or a supplement to school reading instruction and tutoring. Family members are encouraged to support practice at home using simple, provided activities so gains can generalize to everyday reading and writing tasks.
