This hands-on course uses Minecraft Bedrock to guide students through building 16 famous world landmarks, one per week. Each session pairs practical building drills with short historical and cultural context so learners practice architecture, geometry, and design while discovering why these sites matter. Projects include the Great Wall of China, Pyramids of Giza, Eiffel Tower, Statue of Liberty, Colosseum, Machu Picchu, Taj Mahal, Burj Khalifa, Sydney Opera House, Leaning Tower of Pisa, Stonehenge, Christ the Redeemer, Parthenon, Acropolis, Big Ben, and the Alhambra. Students develop core construction techniques such as symmetry, scaling, curves, detailing, and resource planning. Lessons emphasize spatial reasoning, proportion, and creative problem solving as builders adapt real-world forms into block-based structures. Each week ends with share-and-reflect time so learners can present their builds, compare approaches, and get instructor feedback. This course is aimed at learners comfortable exploring Minecraft who want to improve their design skills and historical knowledge. It results in a personal “World Wonders” collection of in-game monuments and a stronger understanding of architectural features across cultures and eras. Participation can include joining the instructor’s shared Bedrock world or working independently and sharing screenshots. Course is organized as weekly projects and does not require formal prior training. Intended for ages 7–12 (grades 3–6).

Paid once.
