ScratchJr Level 2: Block Coding Projects

Great balance of instruction and playful projects—my 7-year-old came away more confident using message and loop blocks after the 8-week course.

ScratchJr Level 2: Block Coding Projects

Clear progression through key ScratchJr blocks and lots of hands-on practice with games and interactive scenes. The one-lesson-per-week format over two months was convenient and effective for building coding vocabulary.

ScratchJr Level 2: Block-Based Coding

As a parent of a 9-year-old with basic ScratchJr skills, I appreciated that Level 2 builds on prior knowledge and introduces elements like loops and pages. The show, try, do structure—with modeling and scaffolded practice—made the 35-minute sessions productive. Two lessons a week across four weeks provided a steady rhythm, though my child sometimes wanted more time to develop larger projects independently. Overall very worthwhile for families ready to move beyond beginners.

ScratchJr Level 2: Block Coding Projects

Our daughter looked forward to the weekly lesson every week; the short duration made it easy to fit into our schedule and the projects really encouraged independent creativity.
