Class Experience

This course surveys the U.S. criminal justice system: stages from investigation to adjudication, jurisdiction differences, crime scene investigation techniques, basic forensics, penal statutes, civil liberties, juvenile law, and landmark cases. Instruction includes case studies, career exploration, simulations, presentations, and debates to encourage critical thinking about justice and public policy.
