This hands-on STEM class examines what crystals, minerals, and rocks are, how crystals form, and how minerals are used in modern technology. Lessons also discuss historical and cultural meanings attached to gemstones, encouraging scientific observation, creative projects, and respectful exploration of traditions without endorsing metaphysical claims.

No prior knowledge needed. This class supports a wide range of learners through visual aids, creative expression, flexible participation, and hands-on engagement. Reading and writing are welcome but not required.
