Fiction Writing: Create and Complete a Short Story

This course helps students turn imaginative ideas into a finished story by teaching core fiction elements: character development, narrator perspective, vivid settings, believable antagonists and conflict, plot planning, dialogue, and endings. Lessons use targeted instruction, writing prompts, discussion, and proofreading practice to build and revise each student’s story.

Learners should be comfortable writing or typing a paragraph.
