As a parent, I appreciated that the Not-So-Scary Halloween Story Workshop was a one-session, low-pressure option for ages 6–8. The group brainstorming and guided prompts made it easy to focus on a clear beginning, middle, and end, and the choice of a drawing or simple craft as a keepsake was a sweet touch.

For a 45-minute class, it felt a bit tight to complete the brainstorming, writing, sharing, and art—might work better with slightly more time or a narrower activity focus.

As a parent, I liked the friendly, short format for ages 6–8 and the way the session used guided prompts to build a simple story structure. The mix of storytelling and an art/craft option felt engaging, though I would have preferred a little more time for the craft portion so the art felt less rushed. Overall it seemed well suited to a single 45-minute meeting.
