Write a Dinosaur Picture Book

Kids become authors and illustrators of their own dinosaur picture book. Over four weeks they invent a dinosaur character, plan a story with a beginning, middle and end, and write simple sentences.

They add illustrations to every page and share their finished book with the class, building creativity and confidence in writing.

How classes work

Each week starts with a short live demo of the new idea, followed by guided practice while the teacher checks in with every learner. Classes end with a small challenge to try before next time.

What we'll cover

• Week 1: My Dinosaur Character – Invent a dinosaur character and draw it.

• Week 2: Story Plan – Plan the story with a beginning, middle and end.

• Week 3: Write and Draw – Write sentences and draw pictures for each page.

• Week 4: Book Launch – Finish the book and share it with the class.

No experience needed. Learners need a device with a camera and microphone for live classes.
