Class Experience
A six-week flexible course that guides students through engineering design challenges tied to real-world problems. Learners research issues, apply science and math concepts, prototype solutions, test designs, and communicate results. Topics include humanitarian airdrops, avalanche barriers, earthquake-resistant structures, wind turbine design, water filtration, and humane trapping for invasive species, with opportunities for peer and instructor interaction.
