Comedy Sketch Writing Workshop: Write and Perform Short Skits

This three-class workshop teaches sketch writing fundamentals: professional script formatting, writing sharp dialogue, and using stage directions. Students practice freewriting, learn four comedy tools (exaggeration, surprise, callbacks, comparisons), revise their material as homework, and perform revised sketches in a live table read to receive feedback.
