Learning Outcomes

  • Fingerspell the manual alphabet and spell their name from memory

  • Sign essential everyday vocabulary (family, food, animals, emotions)

  • Form basic ASL sentence structures and ask WH- and yes/no questions

  • Use facial expressions and non-manual markers to convey grammar and tone

  • Participate in mini-conversations and simple storytelling activities
