American Sign Language (ASL) Part 1 — Introductory ASL & Deaf Culture

An excellent 8-week intro to ASL for ages 11–16. The mix of vocabulary, conversational strategies, and cultural spotlights kept things interesting, and the interactive activities gave my 14-year-old plenty of practice with expressive and receptive skills. The guest-speaker Q&A tied lessons to real-world conversation contexts, which made the course feel very practical.

ASL Storytelling and Receptive Skills (Intermediate)

This intermediate ASL storytelling class was a great fit for our 15-year-old. The focus on vocabulary lists, role shifting, grammar, expressive techniques, and cultural context came through clearly in the interactive activities, homework, and quizzes. The final storytelling presentation with peer review gave students a real chance to practice and build confidence.

ASL Storytelling and Receptive Skills (Intermediate)

I appreciated the course structure—60-minute lessons twice a week over 10 weeks—and how the ASL-only instruction with visual aids and written English support made the intermediate storytelling topics accessible for my 13-year-old.
