This Science Club gives young learners hands-on experience with 12 simple, safe experiments designed for ages 5 to 8 (Kindergarten through 3rd grade). Each session runs about 35 minutes and focuses on one activity where children make a prediction, watch or try the experiment, and talk about the science behind what happened. Activities use everyday household materials and a detailed supply list will be shared before class. Families who do not have the supplies can still join live, observe demonstrations, and take part in discussion and reflection. Throughout the club, instructors emphasize careful observation, asking questions, comparing results, and connecting experiments to everyday life. Experiment topics include chemical reactions (baking soda volcano, balloon inflation, rubber egg), mixtures and color play (walking water, magic milk, color-changing cabbage), density and buoyancy (density tower, dancing raisins), forces and sound (soap-powered boat, cup phone), invisible ink, and crystal growing. Each lesson balances a guided demonstration with opportunities for kids to describe what they see and test simple variations. By the end of the series, learners will be more comfortable making predictions, describing observations, and understanding basic cause-and-effect in science. Adult supervision is recommended for parts of several experiments involving heat, acids, or small objects.

Paid once.
Each 35-minute class centers on one experiment. Sessions start with a prediction, include a demonstration or hands-on trial, and finish with a brief explanation and Q&A. A supply list is shared before class. Kids may participate with materials or join as observers.
Make predictions and compare outcomes to observations
Describe simple scientific ideas like reactions, density, and surface tension
Develop careful observation and communication skills
Connect experiment results to everyday phenomena
No prior experience required. Adult supervision recommended for some experiments involving heat or household chemicals.
