This one-on-one Math Olympiad coaching course is for curious, motivated learners ages 8-10 (grades 2-4) who enjoy puzzles and creative problem solving. Sessions focus on Olympiad-style questions and brainteasers similar to MOEMS and Kangaroo, with an emphasis on thinking strategies rather than rote classroom practice. Students work through hands-on puzzles and number games guided by the instructor. Lessons introduce practical heuristics — for example, drawing diagrams, working backwards, making tables, and looking for invariants — and show how to apply them across problems. Teachers encourage multiple solution methods and require learners to explain their reasoning, building clarity and mathematical communication. Classes are paced to each student’s experience and goals. Expect a mix of teacher-led modeling, collaborative problem solving, timed or untimed practice as appropriate, and feedback focused on strategy, accuracy, and perseverance. Materials are simple: pencil, paper, and teacher-provided Olympiad-style worksheets. This course is suited for enrichment, contest preparation, or any child who wants to deepen logical reasoning and enjoy challenging math.

Paid once.
