Masking, Unmasking, and Building Relationships (Autism/ADHD)

This course examines masking behaviors—like forced eye contact, suppressing stims, and rehearsing conversations—and how masking can drain social energy and cause loneliness. Lessons focus on becoming comfortable showing the authentic self, advocating for personal needs, and social awareness, with a goal-setting worksheet to guide personal priorities. The class is not therapy and students should avoid sharing personal experiences.
