Disney Film Studies: Themes, Characters and Creative Projects

We're very pleased with this course. My 8-year-old enjoyed watching a different Disney movie at home each week and then analyzing themes like friendship, identity and bravery in class, plus the role-play and mapping activities kept her engaged. The one-lesson-per-week format over ten weeks with a final scrapbook project was a great pace for our family.

My 9-year-old really looked forward to the weekly Disney film discussions and the creative activities like drawing and letter writing. The 25-minute lessons were engaging, but sometimes felt a bit short for the more involved projects — overall a very positive experience.
