Critical Thinking & Logic Fundamentals

A four-session introduction to logic and critical thinking that teaches what constitutes an argument, how to evaluate argument strength (validity and soundness), the distinction between deductive and inductive reasoning, and common reasoning errors. Sessions include interactive activities, logic puzzles, and opportunities to analyze and practice arguments.

Materials needed:

During class, learners might wish to have paper and pencil (or some other means of writing). This will be especially useful for solving the logic puzzles. Beyond that, the only thing they need to bring to class is themselves!
