Class Experience
A 15-week project-based art history course exploring the works, styles and movements of Wassily Kandinsky, Gustav Klimt and Pablo Picasso. Lessons combine brief videos and discussions with guided art projects (for example, chalk pastel exercises and Cubist experiments) and conclude with a two-week student research and creative project presented to the class.
Learning Outcomes
Identify the history and stylistic traits of Kandinsky, Klimt and Picasso
Research and present an artist with a visual or digital poster
Recreate and apply stylistic techniques from each artist in projects
