Class Experience
This course explores veterinary topics for small animals, including essential nutrition, how to read pet food labels, care of hospitalized patients, canine and feline body language, and neonatal care. Instruction combines PowerPoint presentations, class discussion, and supplemental videos, with optional learner research presentations toward the end of the term.

Materials needed:
CLASS 2: A pet food label will be used. Teacher will provide an example, or the learner may bring their own cat/dog food label.
Additional YouTube video links will be safely embedded into the classroom for optional viewing.
