Class Experience
This course examines emotionally rich, lesser-known Greek myths and the themes they express—such as xenia, hubris, transformation, identity, and divine interactions. Each week focuses on a different category of minor myths (nymphs, underworld figures, transformation stories, etc.) and encourages student-led discussion and analysis of the cultural meanings behind these tales.
