Class Experience
Students learn beginner polymer clay skills through step-by-step demonstrations and live sculpt-along sessions to create animal-themed charms. Instruction covers basic shapes, color blending, attaching small pieces, texturing with tools or household items, and preparing charms for home baking with adult supervision. Each week builds skills progressively and includes opportunities to share progress and finished pieces.

Create facial features and expressive poses appropriate for small charms
Prerequisites
Materials needed:
Polymer clay (I recommend purchasing a set that includes the colors of the rainbow)
Modeling clay tools or household objects (plastic tools, toothpicks, dotting tools) for sculpting/texturing
A smooth work surface (mat, wax paper, tile)
Eye pins or wire (optional; inserted into the top of the charms so they can be attached as charms to necklaces and bracelets).
Baby wipes or paper towels for cleaning
Adult supervision for baking (usually done after class; I will provide instructions on how to bake the charms)
