Geometry Puzzle Club Ages 11-13: Visual Reasoning and Problem Solving

Good club for building spatial reasoning through tangrams, tessellations, and optical-illusion activities. Puzzle sheets and the create-your-own-puzzle session were nice touches; wish there were more variety in one or two themes.

Women Who Lead: Global Heads of State and Government

As a parent I appreciated that the course stays focused on analysis rather than hero-worship, looking at structures and real leadership challenges. Over six weeks, the weekly 45-minute lessons balanced depth and time commitment so my busy high-schooler could participate without feeling overwhelmed. Discussions felt substantive and the global perspective helped broaden their understanding of how different governments work. I would recommend it to any teen (13–18) interested in leadership and world politics.

Math Island Adventure: Skill-Building Boot Camp

Strong curriculum across measurement, geometry, and data. The themed approach made review sessions more enjoyable for my child.

Chess Beginners Level 1: Rules, Tactics & Play

Solid 10-week structure that moves logically from piece movements to tactics and play. The 50-minute lessons are a manageable length for my 11-year-old, and starting timed games early helped them put concepts into practice. I would have liked slightly more challenging material toward the end.

Comprehensive Science: Life, Earth & Physical Science (Full Curriculum)

Solid structure and useful real-world examples; a minor quibble is that the pace is steady, which might not suit kids who want faster progress.

Ojos de Dios Weaving and Mexican Folk Art

Great short course: hands-on weaving plus explanations of meaning and history made it more than just a craft session. Perfect fit for the 10–15 age range and the two lessons were just right.
