  Beginner Blender Bootcamp: 3D Modeling & Animation Basics

  We enrolled my 12-year-old in the Beginner Blender Bootcamp and appreciated the hands-on projects that introduced the Blender interface and basic modeling. The 60-minute lessons, five times in one week, were engaging and well paced for a beginner.

  Novel Study: The Tyrant's Tomb (Trials of Apollo)

  Solid novel study with helpful vocabulary review and guided questions, and my 9-year-old enjoyed the chapter discussions. The only drawback was that the 55-minute lessons sometimes felt a bit long for his attention span, so we occasionally split a lesson into two shorter sessions.

  Abacus Math: Place Value, Addition & Subtraction

  Really impressed — in two weeks of 45-minute lessons, four times a week, my 8-year-old gained confidence with place value, number building and basic addition/subtraction on the abacus. The course's mix of teacher modeling, guided practice and math games made the techniques clear and enjoyable. I liked that each lesson included interactive participation so my child stayed focused and practiced solving problems on the abacus.
