Consumer Math: Personal Finance Fundamentals (Semester 1)

As a parent, I appreciated the clear focus on personal finance fundamentals like payroll, taxes, banking, budgeting, and interest. My 13-year-old started the class with limited confidence around money math and finished the semester more comfortable making everyday calculations, especially sales tax and shopping math. The lessons are short—just 30 minutes—and meeting twice a week kept the work manageable without feeling rushed. Overall the structure and examples made abstract concepts feel practical and usable.
