Grade 5 English Language Arts: Full-Year Reading, Writing & Grammar

My child benefits from the structured lessons and vocabulary work, but sometimes the 35–40 minute live blocks feel either too short for deeper discussion or a bit long for high-energy days. A little more flexibility in session length or optional stretch activities would help.

  Winter Bear in Sweater Drawing

Very satisfying single lesson; the background choices added a nice creative touch.

  Saxon Algebra 1 — Lessons 1–60 (Full-Curriculum)

The curriculum is comprehensive, but my teenager struggled with consistency — two lessons a week were sometimes hard to keep up with alongside other commitments.

  Landscape Sketching and Painting Fundamentals

Solid content and fun projects; I just wish there were an option for extra practice sessions for students who wanted more painting time.

Scratch Coding Level 2: Game Design and Mechanics

Mixed experience: the content was solid—sprite control, cloning, and scoring were taught through varied game projects—but the pace felt rushed because the course packs five 45-minute lessons into a single week. My 11-year-old enjoyed building a shooter but needed more time to practice between lessons. Good material, just a bit intensive for kids who prefer a slower pace.

Harriet Tubman: Escape, the Underground Railroad, and Legacy

I liked that the class highlighted lesser-known roles like spy and nurse as well as abolitionist activism. My 13-year-old came away inspired and asked for more history courses like this.
