Active Recall and Spaced Repetition
Students replace rereading with self-testing and build a spaced review schedule for their current courses.

An advanced weekly study lab where high schoolers aged 14–17 learn evidence-based techniques such as active recall, spaced repetition and practice testing, then apply them in a focused co-working block. Ideal for students juggling AP, IB or honors workloads who want to study smarter.

Paid once.
High school brings heavier reading, harder tests and more subjects at once, and the study habits that worked in middle school often stop working. This lab teaches the techniques that learning research shows actually help, and gives students protected time to put them into practice on their own coursework.
Each 75-minute session pairs a short, rigorous technique workshop with a long co-working block. Students learn why rereading and highlighting feel productive but are not, and replace them with active recall, spaced repetition, interleaving and practice testing. They design weekly plans that balance multiple demanding courses, build error logs that turn mistakes into targeted review, and practise reading and synthesising dense texts.
The lab runs on a four-week rotating cycle, so students can join at any point. Returning members go deeper each time, refining their own systems and comparing what works with peers. The teacher gives individual feedback on study plans and flashcard decks and helps students adapt each technique to subjects such as chemistry, history or calculus.
Students set a specific goal for each week, such as preparing for a unit test or finishing a research outline, and report back at the start of the next session. The result is a set of habits that make study time shorter, more focused and more effective.
Each session has a 20-minute technique workshop, a 40-minute focused co-working block on the student's own coursework and a 15-minute reflection and goal-setting discussion. Students bring real assignments, notes and upcoming test dates.

Yes. The four techniques rotate and each session stands on its own, so students can start any week. Returning students go deeper into each technique on the next cycle.
They can rejoin the next week without falling behind. The missed technique returns in the following cycle, and students can ask the teacher for the worksheet.
No study course can promise specific grades. Students learn research-based techniques and build habits that make study time more focused, and results depend on how consistently they use them.
