Class Experience

The winter break is a natural pause to look back and plan ahead. In this one-day study camp, students in grades 5 to 9 take an honest, judgment-free look at how the first half of the school year went and use it to design a study plan they can actually stick to in January.

The session is split into three parts. First, learners reflect on their grades, habits and stress points using a simple self-check, and discuss with peers what helped and what got in the way. Next, they turn those reflections into three SMART study goals, learning how to make goals specific, measurable and realistic rather than vague promises. Finally, they map their weekly schedule, block out time for homework, revision and rest, and set up a planner and checklist system.

The teacher guides every step with clear examples, ready-made templates and short discussion rounds. Learners who find planning hard get extra structure: broken-down steps, visual timetables and tips for getting started when motivation is low.

Students leave with three written goals, a personal weekly routine and a planner layout they designed. This is a discussion and planning class, so there is no project to submit, only a plan to take into the new term.

How classes work

This is a single 90-minute live class with a short break in the middle. The teacher alternates mini lessons, guided template work and small discussion rounds, and checks each learner's plan before the end.

Parents Often Ask

It is for students aged 10 to 14 who want a calmer, more organized second half of the school year. It especially helps learners who find planning or getting started difficult.

Printed planner templates (shared before class) or a notebook, pens, a few highlighters and their school calendar or list of weekly activities. Having the calendar helps them build a realistic week.

No. This is a single discussion and planning class with no homework. Students simply leave with their own goals and plan to use in January.

Three written study goals, a personal weekly routine and a planner layout they designed themselves. The templates can be reused each week of the new term.

The class includes a short break and switches between mini lessons, hands-on template work and discussion to keep energy up. Most students aged 10 and up manage it comfortably.
