Roblox Character Design: Model Accessories and Outfits in Studio

Every Roblox player loves customizing their avatar. In this eight-week course learners step into the role of a character designer and model their own accessories and outfit pieces in Roblox Studio.

Learners start by studying what makes a character look unique, including silhouette, color and theme. They sketch a character concept, such as a space explorer, a forest ranger or a pastry chef, and plan the accessories that tell that character's story. Next they learn 3D modeling basics in Studio, combining parts and using union and negate tools to create curved and detailed shapes.

Over the following weeks learners model a hat, a backpack, a pair of wings or a cape, and a handheld prop such as a wand or tool. They practice choosing materials and colors that work together and adding small details that make items feel finished. Learners then learn how to attach accessories to a character rig so items move with the character, and they set up a display stage to show their designs.

In the final week learners present a full character lineup with matching accessories and explain their design choices. The teacher demonstrates every technique step by step and gives personal feedback on each design.

No coding is required. This course suits creative learners who enjoy fashion, characters and building in 3D.

Each class starts with a design idea and a modeling demo. Learners then build their own accessory and get feedback before the next class.
