Teachable Machine: Train an Image Classifier (Grades 3-6)

Fictional example — As a parent, I appreciated that this single-session, 55-minute workshop walks kids through building and training an image classifier with Google's Teachable Machine. My child enjoyed collecting photos for three labeled categories and testing the model with the webcam; it felt hands-on and age-appropriate. A short take-home guide for practicing afterward would have made it even more useful.

Phonics Summer Camp: CVC Word Families & Sight Words

Good camp for beginners — lessons were fun and manageable, though I wished for a bit more follow-up resources to practice at home.

Historical Case Studies in Crime and Investigation

We enrolled our 15-year-old in Historical Case Studies in Crime and Investigation and it was a great fit. The single 55-minute lesson each week over 10 weeks felt well-paced and kept him engaged without being overwhelming. He enjoyed comparing cases from different countries and found the discussions about contextual factors and the role of supernatural explanations especially thought-provoking.

  Valentine's Day Crafts

Lovely course — four weeks of fun Valentine crafts that my 8-year-old still talks about. The step-by-step photos made the card and heart pouch projects easy to follow.
