  K–2 Homeschool Music — Full-Year General Music

This full-year K–2 music course kept my 5-year-old engaged across the 36 weeks with a nice balance of listening, simple percussion, and movement. Lessons clearly target steady beat, rhythm patterns, dynamics and even beginning solfège, and the cultural songs added variety. The once-a-week pacing fits well into our homeschool routine and the final musical showcase was a proud moment for the whole family.

The NGSS-aligned lessons with concise visuals, hands-on demonstrations, and printable worksheets made the curriculum easy to follow and plan for at home.

Composer Study: Florence B. Price — Singing, Listening, and Cultural Connections

This short course packed a lot in: solfege, composer background, worksheets, and marching steps. My 10-year-old kept talking about the cultural connections afterward.
