  As a parent, I appreciated that the two-week, eight-session camp used safe, household materials for hands-on experiments like the baking soda volcano and lava lamp. My kid enjoyed the demos but sometimes seemed restless during the 45-minute sessions and the pacing felt a bit fast for younger children. Useful introduction to scientific thinking, though I wished for a little more step-by-step support for early learners.

  Math Without Pressure: Fundamentals of Arithmetic

  Solid arithmetic refresher for teenagers. The placement assessment helped start my 16-year-old in the right spot, and the practical examples made fractions and remainders easier to understand. Three 45-minute lessons per week over four weeks fit our schedule well and led to noticeable improvement in speed and accuracy with multiplication. Minor downside: I would have liked optional extra practice for students wanting an added challenge, otherwise very satisfied.
