The winter break is a natural pause to look back and plan ahead. In this one-day study camp, students in grades 5 to 9 take an honest, judgment-free look at how the first half of the school year went and use it to design a study plan they can actually stick to in January.
The session is split into three parts. First, learners reflect on their grades, habits and stress points using a simple self-check, and discuss with peers what helped and what got in the way. Next, they turn those reflections into three SMART study goals, learning how to make goals specific, measurable and realistic rather than vague promises. Finally, they map their weekly schedule, block out time for homework, revision and rest, and set up a planner and checklist system.
The teacher guides every step with clear examples, ready-made templates and short discussion rounds. Learners who find planning hard get extra structure: broken-down steps, visual timetables and tips for getting started when motivation is low.
Students leave with three written goals, a personal weekly routine and a planner layout they designed. This is a discussion and planning class, so there is no project to submit, only a plan to take into the new term.
This is a single 90-minute live class with a short break in the middle. The teacher alternates mini lessons, guided template work and small discussion rounds, and checks each learner's plan before the end.
