Overall a strong drumming foundation—rhythm reading, rudiments, and standard notation were well covered—though after the eight weeks we wished there had been a little more guidance on next steps.

Drum Pad Fundamentals: Rhythm, Rudiments, and Performance

This program is an excellent starter for kids aged 6 to 9, covering stick grip, notation, and rudiments in a logical progression. The lesson length of 25 minutes and once-a-week schedule made it easy to balance with other activities. The final capstone performance was a proud moment for our family.
