Mystery Reading Club: Grades 3-5 Comprehension Curriculum

As a parent, I appreciated that the club meets twice a week for about 50 minutes so practice is consistent but not overwhelming. The enter-investigate-synthesize case cycle made it easy for us to follow what skill was being practiced each session. Overall, the structure and use of text evidence felt well organized.

Music and the Military: Wartime Music and Memory

Solid content and approachable for teens, but felt like an overview rather than an in-depth study. Still a good, compact option for a busy week.

Unity 2D Game Design with C#

The structure was excellent: four 55-minute lessons per week made steady progress without overwhelming my 8-year-old. The lessons on player controls, collisions, and scoring were especially engaging.

Beginner Acting: Stage Presence, Monologues & Improv

Sadly this didn't meet our expectations; my 13-year-old found the activities repetitive and didn't feel challenged by the pace or content.

Book Club: The Wonderful Wizard of Oz

Great mix of guided discussion, games, and activities that made identifying literary elements fun for my 12-year-old.

My 8-year-old gained confidence speaking short German sentences and enjoyed the interactive dialogue practice with peers. Great starter course.
