Build a First Website with HTML and CSS

Great entry point into web design for teens. The demos of modern tools like AI and JavaScript gave extra context without being overwhelming.

Isabella I of Castile: Reign, Policy and Legacy

Very informative and well-paced overall, with clear coverage of governance and exploration patronage for teens. My 15-year-old enjoyed the weekly 55-minute lessons but mentioned that some weeks felt a bit dense. Still, it's a useful 10-week introduction to Isabella's reign and legacy.

Halloween Biology for Ages 6-8: Bats, Bones and Brains

As a parent I thought the Halloween-themed units—bones, brains, nocturnal animals and plant chemistry—were imaginative and the safety-first use of household materials was reassuring. My only mild note: the materials list could be a touch clearer and I would have liked a little more time for the final group reflection. Still, the overall structure and the short at-home extension ideas made it worthwhile.

  Private Mandarin Chinese Lessons (1:1)

Overall a positive experience: clear structure and helpful materials, though I would have liked more frequent sessions to reinforce learning between weeks.

Character Mapping and Mind Mapping for Book Analysis

Good emphasis on annotation techniques and character maps, but the material felt a bit advanced for our 7-year-old during the first week; by week two they were more engaged.
