Grade 2 ELA: Full-Year Reading, Writing & Grammar

This is a clear, balanced setup: reading-focused sessions with guided discussion and vocabulary work, and separate grammar & writing classes that move from sentence building toward paragraph writing. I appreciate the progressive scope and sequence in this invented review for the prototype.

Creative Writing Camp: Fantasy Short Stories

I liked how structured yet creative the Creative Writing Camp was — the 30-minute lessons were a good length for keeping attention and the four lessons across the week built momentum. My 14-year-old came away with original characters and a solid quest idea, and the combination of peer and teacher feedback encouraged revisions. It's a great one-week boost for budding fantasy writers in the 12–16 age range.

Little House Book Study: Little House in the Big Woods & Little House on the Prairie

Nice balance of literature and history — the passage reviews and reflection tasks encouraged my child to think more deeply about the characters' lives and the realities of farming and seasonal work.
