  Grade 1 Science: Plants, Animals, Weather & Light

  As a parent of a 6-year-old, I liked the mix of hands-on investigations and guided discussion in the 24-lesson Grade 1 science course. The visuals and printable worksheets made the plant and weather lessons easy to follow, though a few experiments needed extra prep or materials on our end.

  Bessie Coleman: Aviation Pioneer and Barrier Breaker

  As a parent, I appreciated that this short course focused on both her milestone as the first African American and Native American woman pilot and the broader early aviation context. It's designed for ages 11-17 so it hit the right level of detail for my 14-year-old. The 55-minute lesson felt well-paced and informative, and the one-week format makes it a nice introduction for kids curious about aviation history.

  Marine Mammal Biology, Behavior, and Culture

  My child loved the mix of lectures, multimedia, case studies, and student research. Seeing how physiology links to behavior and conservation really sparked deeper questions and independent exploration.
