Space Art Studio: Paint the Planets

Space Art Studio combines painting with space science. Each week kids learn fascinating facts about a part of the universe, then paint it using techniques like color blending and splatter stars.

By the final week every child has a set of space paintings for a class gallery, and they can explain the science behind each one.

How classes work

Each week starts with a short live demo of the new idea, followed by guided practice while the teacher checks in with every learner. Classes end with a small challenge to try before next time.

What we'll cover

• Week 1: Planets – Paint colorful planets and learn what makes each unique.

• Week 2: Moon – Paint the moon's craters and learn about its phases.

• Week 3: Nebula – Blend colors to paint a nebula where stars are born.

• Week 4: Galaxy Gallery – Paint a galaxy and share work in a class gallery.

No experience needed. Learners need a device with a camera and microphone for live classes.
