A four-week earth science course for grades 2-4. Learners build a weather lab in Roblox Studio, model the water cycle, compare cloud types and design a town that is ready for different weather.

Paid once.
Rain, wind, sunshine and snow all happen for a reason. In this four-week course learners in grades 2 to 4 explore weather by building a weather lab world in Roblox Studio.
In week one learners learn about the water cycle and build a model that shows evaporation from a lake, clouds forming over mountains and rain falling back down. They label each stage and explain it in their own words. Week two is all about clouds. Learners compare cumulus, stratus and cirrus clouds and build examples at different heights in their world, discussing what weather each type usually brings.
In week three learners explore wind, storms and seasons. They use Roblox lighting and atmosphere settings to show sunny, foggy and stormy days and talk about how weather is measured with simple tools like thermometers and rain gauges. The final week brings everything together as learners design a small town that is ready for different weather, adding features like rain gutters, snow shelters and shady trees.
The teacher uses friendly visuals and short videos to explain each idea, then guides learners through building. Learners share their weather lab with the class and explain one thing they discovered.
By the end learners will understand the water cycle, cloud types and basic weather patterns. No prior Roblox Studio experience is required.
Each class begins with a short weather lesson with pictures. Learners then build a matching part of their weather lab and share it with the group.
Week 1: The Water Cycle – Model evaporation, cloud formation and rain.
Week 2: Cloud Types – Build cumulus, stratus and cirrus clouds.
Week 3: Wind, Storms and Seasons – Show different weather with lighting and atmosphere.
Week 4: Weather-Ready Town – Design a town prepared for rain, snow and heat.
Explain the stages of the water cycle
Identify common cloud types and the weather they bring
Describe wind storms and seasons
