Roblox Pet Care Game: Feed, Train and Level Up Pets

Caring for virtual pets is a favorite activity for many young Roblox players. In this eight-week course learners build their own pet care game and learn how to code characters with needs, stats and growth.

Learners start by designing a cozy pet world with a home, a park and a training area. They then build a simple pet model and script it to follow its owner around. Next they add needs. Learners create hunger and happiness meters that slowly go down over time and show them on screen. Players can fill the meters by feeding the pet from a bowl or playing with a ball.

In the second half of the course learners add training activities, such as a jump course or a fetch game, that give the pet experience points. When a pet earns enough experience it levels up and gains a new look or trick. Learners also build a small shop where players buy food and toys with coins earned from activities.

The teacher demonstrates each system and talks about responsible pet care themes like regular feeding and play. Learners customize their pets and worlds and share them with classmates in a final pet show.

By the end each learner has a playable pet care game with following pets, needs meters and a level system. The course is designed for beginners who love animals and games.

No coding experience required. Basic Roblox Studio navigation is helpful.
