Roblox Lua Coding Camp: Build Three Games in One Week

This five-day camp is an exciting, fast-paced way to learn Roblox coding during a school break. Learners meet every day for one week and build three complete mini games, each one adding new coding skills.

On day one learners get comfortable in Roblox Studio and write their first scripts, changing part properties and responding to touches. They finish the day by starting game one, a coin collector with a score counter. Day two completes the coin collector with a timer and a win screen. On day three learners build game two, an obby with checkpoints, kill bricks and a moving platform, using loops and events. Day four introduces multiplayer ideas as learners create game three, a simple team game with team colors and a shared score. On day five learners polish their favorite game, add sounds and effects, and present all three games in a camp showcase.

The teacher keeps the pace lively and explains each concept with clear examples. Learners help each other, share tips and playtest classmates' games throughout the week.

By the end of camp learners will have three playable games and a solid grasp of Lua basics, including variables, events, loops and functions. No prior coding experience is needed, though basic computer skills are helpful.

How classes work

The camp meets daily for five days. Each day combines a short lesson, guided coding and free build time, ending with a Friday showcase.
